Participation in the ASA Programme begins in Germany. During two seminars held in April and June, each lasting several days, participants learn to better understand global interdependencies and to broaden their knowledge of methods in global learning. Intercultural communication, diversity issues, and conflict management/resolution are also discussed.
The seminars also provide a venue for white participants to reflect on internalised racism, and for black participants and People of Colour (PoC) to strengthen their self-determination.
