The ASA Advisory Board is formed by rrepresentatives of development policy institutions (GIZ, KfW, SLE, DIE), the Federal Foreign Office and other social institutions (e.g. members of the Bundestag, universities, NGO networks, media, European partner organisations) together with representatives of the donors of the ASA Programme (in particular the BMZ and many federal states) and ASA volunteers (members of the honorary representation and the board of the ASA FF). The committee has an advisory function and makes recommendations for the further development and implementation of the ASA Programme.
The Advisory Board meets twice a year. In its meetings, it discusses issues relating to the strategic development and orientation of the ASA Programme as well as its positioning in the social environment. The broad composition of the committee ensures a multi-perspective view on programme policy issues at all times.
