Each summer project partners worldwide are invited to submit their project proposals for the upcoming year. During the three- or six-month project phase participants work in your organisation – for example in areas such as public relations, workshop and campaign design, research or product development. By collaborating with your team, participants develop practical solutions, bring in fresh ideas, and further dvelop both their professional and intercultural skills.

"Our ASA projects on urban gardening bring people from Aachen and Cape Town together. They learn together and from each other, which is a real added value for the people in both cities., Norbert Kuntz, Aachen-Cape Town partnership.

It begins with a three-month phase in Germany and is followed by a three-month project phase in a partner country in Africa, Asia, Latin America, or Southeast Europe. This creates an intensive exchange on an equal footing, enabling all participants to learn from each other and grow together.
